I'm a big fan of the movie. I played it for the kidsa few weeks back. A little 'colourful' language for 5 year olds. Probably should've screened it first.

I never watched it as a kid, not sure why, and I assume, like most things from the 80's unless their is an existing nostalgia factor tying you to it, I doubt I would watch it today for the first time and think it would be any good.

I love the Goonies, one of the all time best kids adventure movies. The hunt for the treasure of one eye willy. One of Spielburg's better stories.

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed Spielberg doesn't do epic adventure movies anymore.. they're definitely his best work. (I'm ignoring IJ4)

Ok. It's official. Now there's two of you guys that haven't seen this movie. It might be cause for an intervention. I thought that you guys have friends; yet somehow this movie has passed you by....
My 5 and 8 year old loved the movie, but they also like Back to the Future, Stargate and McGuyver ....
