Hi guys. I have a Williams Cyclone 1988. Some lights are not working and the problem is not the light itself. What are the next steps to solve that problem?

1) Test the wire
2) A resistor or something is burned on the board?
3) ?????
4) !!!?,!,!,

Thanks guy, im a newbie and apreciate your help,

Which lights are you referring to? General illumination? Controlled lamps? Flashers? Each one will have it's own set of things to check.

Care to share what the issue ended up being? Any tech posts are great when they have follow-up info for future searches.

Problem solved.

1) One connector was burned on a little board under the playfield. I am talking about a long and white connector that fit on few metal pins. It was visually easy to detect. Connector very hot and burned.
2) Also, one transistor was busted on the main board. It was easy to detect it visually, one of the 3 legs broken.
3) One wire was not solder properly on the playfield general light system.
