Was wondering what most owners use to maintain their playfields. Do you use a product that is specific to pinball playfields or a general household product? Do you normally clean and then wax the playfield? Just wondering what the most common method is. Thanks.

Naphtha, also known as camp stove fuel or lighter fluid. Wipe down the playfied with a microfibre cloth, wait a few minutes for it to evaporate, then apply wax. Vacuuming first is a good idea.

Always try to use the least abrasive method. Start with vacuuming, then move to something like CP-100 (napthas). If those don't clean it (eg. ground in ball trails), use Novus 2 only where there is ground in dirt.

Only use wax that doesn't contain silicone.

If you switch from black rubber, you will have less black dirt in the game over time.

im not sure where everyone else buys . i buy my naptha from my sherwin williams dealer , as a painter i do enjoy a bit of a discount. its been awhile since buying it so i cant quote you.
most would reccomend players one for novus , however i was recently at Sculpture supply Canada in etobicoke and pleasantly surprised to see novus products so i bought some up there.
waxes obviously readily available .
evaporust is cheapest at princess auto.
lately ive been stocking up on triple thick using that weekly michaels coupon
