I too am delinquent in giving thanks in a busy and plentiful year.

Thanks to Drano for another great "group pin" deal, and in pushing us both in directions that we need to reluctantly go.
Thanks to all the Bluffs Management and Tech team for continuing to keep our games in great condition. Thanks Sparky for recent fixes.

Thanks to the "pinball mafia". (as one spouse has aptly named us) It refers to "all of us", online and off, that continue to help each other out.

With 100 replies and thousands of views, this great thread took on a life of it's own that Drano never expected when it began.
Thank you my friend. It is a great reminder to stay grounded and humble and thankful at special and regular moments in life.

After looking at the "Not Mine For Sale Thread", and a few beers, I thought it was time to bring this thread back to life.

I'm thankfull for the collectors in this hobby who are more than happy to help others out, and enjoy pinball for what it is. To me it's just a fun escape from working my a$$ off, that my wife puts up with, because she knows I need a break. I've had good experiences with all the people I've met, and wish I had more time to get to know the community better.

Let's all be thankfull for pinball, and the break from the real world it should give us.

Cheers, and if you go to Church on May 11, I hope I meet you.

Pinball started as just the next hobby as I matured(?).
Lots of great people out there willing to help you out and help steer you clear of the crooks.
Thanks to all of you.
Will be Churchin' in the afternoon as I have to work until 11am.

Huge Thanks to singlezero
He went above and beyond when I picked up his 1949 Bally Champion one ball horse racing game last Sunday. Giving me a hand loading up the game. Meeting me at his shop once I got into town. Also gave me a tour of his setup. I must say I was very impressed by his game room/arcade/collection. Lots of very cool machines.

I rolled the dice on a 800 km road trip not knowing for sure if the machine would actually fit in my van.
Luckily for me, the back legs (it's more like one huge wooden leg) of the Bally Champion were broken off at some point in the machine's turbulent past.
The back legs held with wood screws and a few nails. This allowed me to take them off. Allowing just enough clearance to fit the huge (and heavy!) cabinet in the van.

Thanks again to singlezero. I now have my first Bally One Ball thanks to him.

a big shout out of thanks to al amona for coming up to my shop this weekend and getting the issue fixed with my Target Alpha. there was a solar city i had someone wanting him to go over and repair and when he finished that took a look at my TA. it has been a big bone of exasperation for me . probably had the bottom board out 3 times with multiple people and several hours and couldnt find the ghost. it would hesitate spitting out first ball. I saw the exact same thing my only trip to bluffs pinball on their TA. seems a contact on first ball relay and the 2b switch fixed with an hour of al under the hood. the games issue had me rather down about pinball because this Ta has been a long time coming to fruition. having it fixed has reinvigorated my return to working on my pins again.

I'm going through a similar issue with my only dedicated vid, an Atari Super Sprint.
One day the thing just stopped working properly and I'm not very skilled at vid repair. I've been chasing my tail for months and my basement gameroom is a disaster of parts and half-finihsed repairs. I really want it fixed so that I can move on to other stuff and get my main gameroom back in order.
