SOLD Pending Pickup, thank you for looking! (I have a couple more that I am working on and will be putting up for sale soon, these will be slightly newer models but still mechanical antiques from the 40's I think.)

I am divesting my antique slot machine collection and this is the first one prepared for sale if anyone is interested. ( I have another mechanical Mills, a Pace and a Jennings Chief, as well as a couple electromechanical Nevada slots being prepared for personal sale, and would entertain a bulk purchase offer. PM me.)

It's an original Mills Extraordinary 5c in fully working condition (payouts tested, jackpot mech intact), Brown Wrinkle Paint, an Art Deco Architectural Case. It's all original reels and payout card, original parts and castings with serial engravings, includes the original operation stickers, not a repro. Includes the original metal back with Mills lock and key, cashbox and slug catcher. Also includes a wooden stand.

It's reliable as a tank and a lot of fun to play, but what a fickle mistress, I've been chasing jackpots for a long while, with lots of smaller wins to show for it in the meantime. But she will pay off to the right person! The jackpot is self filling and a reserve jackpot mechanism (so when the jackpot pays out, it reloads the jackpot on the next pull).

Mechanical slot machines are a fascinating marvel of technical engineering. A glimpse when physics, springs and mechanical engineering did what electricity couldn't. Sometimes I imagine the generations of people who have played this machine, from oil tycoons, to flappers, to the poorest of poor trying their hand at an "easy" win. You can get a sense of all that history when you lay your hands on the handle and machine, and there is NOTHING like getting a near jackpot, or hearing the jangle of coins spill out when a win is made.

Has typical casino wear and paint chip "history", as well as a spray painted coin payout area (easily re-done if desired) - likely done by a previous owner to hide the worn away paint in the payout tray from years of dropping coins. These have sold in the USA for US$3000-4000+ fully restored and antique mechanical slots are getting exceedingly rare to find in Canada.

Doesn't include the coins shown in pics (but works reliably with Canadian nickels). Not for gambling, for personal use as a home collectible display amusement only. Available at ground level for pickup (thankfully these older slots are "slightly" less heavy than new slots, and easier to break down into cartable components).

Offering at $2000 CDN cash and carry. Located in Waterdown, ON, just North of Burlington, easy access off Hwy's 5, 6, 403 or 407. First to offer a deposit gets it.

PM me if interested in a link for a demo video and additional hi-res pictures. Thank you for looking!

Although I'm primarily looking for some cash to pay for my first NIB pin, I will always consider a trade for a pinball machine. Also I am preparing a collection of a Jennings Chief, another antique Mills, an antique Pace (the Mills and Pace are currently jammed, but I intended to have a look at them before putting up for sale, I. am pretty good at unjamming these guys) and two vintage Jennings Nevada electronic models (not currently working, likely need re-capping), 6 slot machines total that I would let go altogether for $7000 including a collection of harder to get slot machine instruction manuals covering these.
