AC/DC flipper sticking...sometimes.

Right flipper works fine for 15-20 min. and then it will start to bind and not return to the rest position. Is it a bad coil already! Do I just take it apart, see if the plunger binds in the sleeve/coil and get a new coil from starburst. It must swell as it heats up.

As luch mentioned, check the flipper bushing "lash", which is the amount of space between the pawl/bushing/bat. You can check this by pulling up and down on the flipper bat, and there should be about 2 business cards thick of play / movement when you do this. You can also do a quick visual at the same time from under the playfield, just look for a gap between the pawl and the bottom of the bushing.

Adjusted and corrected. There was no play on the flipper. It's much easier to call on other people's experience than bash your head against the wall trying to figure it out yourself.
