BSD Issue

I am having some problems with my Dracula. Getting an error, 58 mystery hole switch. I went into the tests, shows it as closed, tried manually activating it, no change, I unplugged this switch from the harness,and then it shows as open, not sure if this is normal or not, had the switch off, seemed normal operation, since this switch is activated by the ball rolling over it, should it not be normally open?, and would this mean the switch is bad inside?

got it, removed and cleaned switch, adjusted up a bit, now fully working, mist multi ball etc being activated, no more errors on self test..
