how much% tax they charged at the custom when you bring a pin from usa to ontario/quebec.

13% for Ontario...

zero duty but you pay HST in ONT and the equivalent in QUE

If the machine was manufactured in the U.S. or Mexico then you pay HST.

If manufactured anywhere else, then you theoretically would pay duty, but to my knowledge, it rarely, if ever, happens.
