Sold pending pick up
4th time's the charm. Lets hope it stays sold.
Yes. I've used up all my lucky charms!
Oh, it's staying sold this time. Cabinet decals have been ordered and I've moved stuff around in the game room to fit it in.
I'm glad we were able to work this out Mike. Sorry I couldn't be there in person to pick it up. Lucky the Mrs. has family near enough to you to grab it for me.
It will be odd going on our next trip to Disneyland and not being compelled to play their custom cabinet Jones. Who am I fooling... I still pay to play pins in my collection when I find them on location.
Nice forum you all have here. I'll be sure to check back in from time to time.
There you have it folks. Straight from the horse's mouth!
All good. We made it happen!
Yep this is the the Canadian version of Pinside. Great forum!
Great community for sure, but dont insult it by comparing it to pinside
You know, instead of replacing the decals, you could always take that cash and put it towards making a custom cab like the one at Disney. Price is probably about the same, and it'd mean you'd have something unique.
Had to check this out. Looks pretty cool! Just kind of tucked away in the corner by the shirts for sale
That onfy is so sweet, woodrail lol!
Woodrail DMD. You don't hear that too often
I did put a bit of thought into doing just that; but, ultimately I'm a sucker for nostalgia and the Indy I originally played was the regular cabinet version. I do think I'll get everything brass/gold plated though. It's just too tempting when you've got everything torn apart.
That will look purdy!
I've re-opened this thread because it looks like Mike's US buyer backed out and found a closer local example.
Thanks Mike! Yes IJ is back on the market.
I'll just head to the corner and stand when my head down wearing the sash of shame.
Gang, this is a steal of a deal. My wife and I feel awful about not picking this up; but, since a family member was serving as the mule to transport this to us - we couldn't pass up the opportunity for something that was closer that came together at literally the last minute.
Atariaction's game is the best value going at this point. With just a bit of TLC, you can have nice and shiny Indy for the cheapest value you will ever see on this classic game. Mike is easy to work with and provides quick updates to any questions you may have. If you do purchase his machine, let me know if you need decals as I know of someone that has a set available.
Don't pass up this chance at one of the best playing games ever. With the new Pinsound board and ColorDMD, Indy is a perfect blend of 90's greatness with the new millennium bling. You will kick yourself months from now, not years, if you pass this up.
Sold PPU to a buyer in Indiana again
This thread reminds me of "The Cat Came Back".
All joking aside, congrats and hope the sale is really done this time.
Me too. We really do feel awful about it.
Thanks man and me too
