Pinball Revival Advice

Hey Folks, I am fairly new to the site and as a pinball owner.
I purchased my first machine approx six months ago and was immediately hooked. I have purchased three more and currently have three in my collection and still looking, (wife is really questioning my sanity). The issue is, pinball is a very rare thing in my area but I know they are out there. What I am looking for is some advice on maybe reaching out to these others in the hope of creating some kind of group/community of pinball players/owners in my area. I was thinking of hosting some kind of pinball event and maybe posting it on Kijiji. Good idea or not!? I was wondering what you all thought.

I think posting publicly for events in your private home is a bad idea. You would want to grow it through your own networks such as friends, relatives,neighbors, co-workers. Eventually a few may convert to pinheads and with enough interest, a local league can be set up.
