Shaker Motor Help

Running the diagnostic test for the shaker motor on my RS - when the motor cycles on/off it only makes one revolution per cycle, and doesn't really shake the machine. Is this what should be expected? Also, 95% of the time the motor cycles on/off in succession; on occasion, it may not always cycle "on". Should I be considering a brush replacement?

I wanted to be sure everything was in working order before I played it (so as not to blow something up), so I've only tested to this point.

I don't have a RS so I cannot comment on what the shaker should be doing during test, but maybe Brewmanager can confirm as I know he has one.

Checking the brushes on these motors is dead simple too. You could pull the brushes out and eyeball the amount of "meat" left on the brush, this is what they should look like when new;

If it's getting low PBR sells replacements.
