World’s Biggest Bookstore closes February, sold to developer

Sort of sad to see another landmark store close down and how different the landscape around there looks like now compared to what it use to be.

This use to be one of my favorite places to frequent when I was younger and spent many hours reading GamePro and Nintendo Power at the magazine stands They are having a 50% off sale until the doors close.

Man... those photos bring back such good memories of younger years... Friday nights, heading downtown to hit some shops and walk the strip. Seeing those people you didn't know by name, but that you'd bump into and hang with each week because you'd all be heading down to the same place. Good times. I left T.O. 20-odd yrs ago, and its been sad to hear about each of those places closing down as years have gone by. Sam's, FunLand, Biggest Book Store, I raise a drink in your honour...
