I almost sold this game several months back after a lot of grief waiting for good code and watching other titles from Stern take the front seat.

Over the last few months I've been very pleasantly surprised with the new code that has been added. Even though the game has finally reached its potential, I've now had it well over a year and even managed to set a pretty good GC of over 117million on it the other day; so I think I am near ready for a change now.

It's a great game and I won't cry if it stays, but I'm interested to see what trade offers might be out there.

My first choice would be an AC/DC premium, but I am open to all (reasonable) trades. I collect everything from EMs & SS to DMD... so make me an offer. I'm also willing to entertain multiple lesser value games, for the right titles.

The game is super clean with very low plays.
I have added:

-shaker
-plastic protectors
-cliffy's
-white rubber
-custom blue T-molding on head to match the armour (I still have the stock silver)
-custom blue mirror blades

If I didn't already have this game I'd be all over making an offer. XMLE is an amazing game that only suffers from early bashing due to initial code.

The blue mirror blades look sweet!!

Agreed. Seems only XM owners really know how good this game REALLY is now. It also suffered from a few other QC issues from factory that were eventually addressed, but bad code and the reverse "Pinside Effect" have kept this game down.
I was lucky that mine didn't have any issues, but it was a loooong wait for this game to be playable and enjoyable.

I'm not crazy about letting it go, especially now that the rules are finally living up to the cool design, but I've also been there since day one and I'm ready to move on. I feel like I've seen all the modes and gotten my play out of it. Haven't seen Dark Phoenix yet though :(

I own a Tron and there are similarities in these two Borg designs... so I'l keep that for now.
The rules are probably as deep as LOTR but the modes are a lot more fun IMO.
Maybe if I was a bigger comic book fan :D

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

Well, things have been quiet.

I guess opinions on this pin are still very firmly in the "crapper" ;)
It's too bad the negative hype from months ago is still keeping people away from this title... especially when almost all of Stern's releases suffered from bad original code.
Oh well... guess I'll enjoy it a little while longer.

Just in case though; here is a small wishlist of titles I've been interested in and would consider in some sort of trade/combo deal.

-ACDC (premium prefered)
-Centaur
-BSD
-TOM
-SHADOW
-Godzilla
-Congo
-T2
-TX sector
-Banzai Run (must be nicer than the one I already have)
-Gottlieb add-a-ball wedgeheads (depends which title)

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

Im a fan of the game and would love to own it, but monetarily speaking, might not be the best option.

Unless you wanna be really really really generous.

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

Can you make change for some buttons and pocket lint?

To be honest, only machine I have personally is the R&B, so tradwise, not so much. As for purchase, check PM.

Let's combine forces and go for an A-Lister.

I'll keep it Sun-Tues, you get Wed-Fri and we rotate Saturdays!

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

I would be open to selling my XM pro if I could upgrade to an XMLE.
I would also need to let something else go to make up the difference.

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

You forgot my offer of some solid buttons...

And remember, my lint is of premium quality. I'd say it's even limited edition, but it does not come with a COA.

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

Have you considered trading it into Starburst towards a new game?
If there is something new you want it may not be a bad idea.
Also, you will only pay sales tax on the remainder of the price after trade.

Good luck!

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

I suppose. But I'm trying to cut back a few games (or at least cut back on dollar value in my lineup ;) ). I was nearing 30 pins a couple of months ago.

There's nothing on the market right now that excites me all that much anyway.
Maybe I'll consider it once I hear what the next release will be.

Too early to jump on hobbit.

Thanks.

Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine

One last bump before the holidays (promise).
Funny... when you decide to let a game go, you end up playing it a lot more ;)
It's such a challenging game that I may have to reconsider and hold it a little while longer... but I'm still open to trade offers for now.

Thanks.

FT: XM LE - Wolverine

Lol
That's what happened to me with lotr.
It's totally true. Trying to play the bags off it before it left and you quickly realize why you liked it so much to begin with.
GLWT Drano!
