Hi, I'm selling a Metallica Premium. Asking $14,000. It is in great condition and plays great I just don't have enough time to play it and feel like it's time for it to find a new home.
It has several mods/upgrades that will be included as well as all of the original parts that came off of the...
Hi, I'm selling an Iron Maiden pro machine. It was the first machine I ever got and as you can see I went a little crazy with the mods and upgrades. Unfortunately it just doesn't get enough use for me to justify keeping it.
It's in great condition, the only issue is that the art blades have...
Bingo. I suck at pinball, I put something like 2000 plays on my iron maiden within the first few months of having it and the average ball time was like 12 seconds lol. I got into a habit of restarting if my first ball was bad and even if I didn't do that I never once made it to the end game or...
Yeah that's a smart move. The issue I've seen at the other arcades of this type that have games like DDR is that they put them right on the floor where everything else is and it ends up annoying the other guests and annoys the players of the rhythm game since there is always competition for...
Doesn't the real issue come down to proving what they're worth? For more niche items that can be hard but with pinball it's easy unless you have some special, rare machine.
My understanding is that yes you're wrong. you can hold the flipper all day and it won't cause any issues on most machines. The coil coolers are there for when you play a long game and you've charged the coils over and over during a long game since the heat builds up. Holding the flipper puts it...
I still feel bad that I never made it out to Meeplemart. Going to try and get out to this one as soon as I can, it looks super promising with this lineup!
If you have any interest in rhythm games there is a very thirsty rhythm game community in Ontario that is dying for places to play. It's a...
lol! I've actually seen them sell on the facebook ontario group twice in the last few years. I don't think it's super rare or expensive, just a big machine so it's not easy to find the room for it.
That game is great, one of the grails I plan on getting when I have enough room.
It's a Namco game called Quick & Crash. It uses a clever trick of pulling the mug down really quickly and spraying out some chips when you make a hit so it really feels like you smashed the mug. So much fun.
I actually tried several bulbs in my Class of 1812 that all ghosted, Eddie was able to hook me up with ones that worked without ghosting. He knows his stuff and his bulbs are on par with comet.
I sent him this thread and unfortunately his response was "there's a reason our arcade has an Outrun 2 sitting in the back for years now"
Apparently these machines are not easy to work with. He said there are 2 more in Barrie with busted Outrun 2's.
Also said "a lot of the times I end up...
I have some experience with arcade games but my ability to troubleshoot is pretty limited. If it needs any board work I'm going to be at a loss.
I have a friend who is capable but not sure if he's available. I will send him this thread though just in case.
The Wizard's Castle in Erin mills town center changed spots a few times. At one point it was in the large spot across from the clock that used to be a movie theater. This would have been late 90s. by the early 2000s it was right near the entrance beside Tim Horton's.
You also missed the...
The cabinet looks pretty cheap and at that price I have to imagine the screen and joystick/buttons will be too. For something with a raspberry pi I'd rather just build it myself, but I'm a DIY type person and I know not everyone likes to do that stuff themselves.
