Whoa... Gotta wonder what else in that cabinet isn't from a Bobby Orr... I'd be interested but no where near the $1,200 asking.
Just looked up the Professional pinball that the back-glass comes from... An eight ball conversion kit apparently. Hadn't heard of it...
If you have strong 3D rendering skills the Virtual Pinball scene would likely embrace you with open arms. there are some pretty awesome things being released for the latest version of Virtual Pinball, Cactus Canyon Continued being one of them. Bart, the train, the mine shaft and beer mug all...
I think it looks like a nice 'players' machine... some wear on the pf, but if you were looking for minty fresh CPR still has some Silver and Bronze playfields left... I believe you can also get cabinet decals for them... now whether you would get another $1,500 +/- out of it after a playfield...
I see what you're seeing :) Clearer on my monitor... was looking at it on my phone yesterday. I'd ask for more pictures but I'd really just be kicking the tires as I wouldn't want to pay that much for a project. Wonder what the boards look like on it.
That Harlem Globetrotters is now listed at $1,100. Hard to see how bad the wear on the playfield is. Looks like someone painted a big portion of the blue... red for some reason. I don't believe this playfield is even on CPR's list to re-do... not sure where you'd find a NOS one.
I thought I had read T-Moulding used 1/16 which would be a hair narrower than this one I guess, though I'd think 3/32 should work too. I did my two cuts this morning and this blade cut through the plywood like a knife through butter, I was very pleased, I paid $22+tax, which from anything I...
This is kind of a shot in the dark... but I've been waiting on a 3/32" Slot cutting router bit to show up from China for ages... with the impending postal strike coming up I'm afraid I may not get it for a while. Anyone in the west end of the GTA happen to have a 3/32" Slot Cutting router bit...
I actually don't recall getting to spend any time on a real one back when the wife and I frequented TOPL... I can't recall any locations or people having one back then (2004ish?) I did log some hours on the iPad on TPA's version and have enjoyed it and then got my hands on the 2.0 at Allentown...
That $2,500 range was what I was naively hoping would be the price point but seeing as folks are asking $6K USD for a 2.0 the $3.5-$4K seems like a reality.
I really do appreciate all the feedback to my post guys! Thanks.
Curious to know what these are going for? I played a BOP 2.0 at Allentown and really enjoyed it, was curious to know what a players BOP would fetch... having to splash out another $2K US to actually upgrade one to 2.0 is another story altogether.
Did anyone hear back from on the Dirty Harry or Demolition Man pins in stratford for $1600 last week? I messaged early like 20 views I believe and never did. Curious to know if the ad was real.
