Guys,
I will be participating in the Pinball For Change tournament at Adam's on April 1st. I already have to bring up a piece of playfield glass for Drano. If anyone else needs any let me know. Pricing details are in the for sale section.
Admins, feel free to slap me if this is inappropriate...
Not sure if any of you have seen this on Pinside. This is an interesting alternative to NOS/CPR playfields at half the cost. Seems like these guys have a licensing agreement and have worked out the kinks with the product...
It was great meeting both of you last night Chris and Bernie! I'm doing my best to put the PBR nicknames together with the faces/names I meet at the events. Slow and steady wins the race!
Thanks to Mike for hosting (you have storage space at my place for a machine or two anytime!) and Walt for...
I know who has your game and I play it regularly. You did a nice job on it. I'd consider buying this guys machine for $600 but I don't think he would sell it for that little.
For that game at that price, if it was in good condition, there's no way he would still have it for sale. And based on what spikedbat reported back there is an obvious reason it isn't gone yet.
Thanks for the info. Did you get a chance to play it or check out the guts? There's a company starting to offer "hardtops" for certain games on Pinside - https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/space-shuttle-new-prototype-playfield-product. Half the price of CPR playfields. This may be an option...
I sold 4 working displays, the master and the cables from my Firepower for $100 to someone on the forum. I'm not sure about the displays for Space Shuttle but I'm sure deals can be found somewhere.
This guy is on pinside.com and really easy to deal with - http://nvram.weebly.com/
I checked my PMs with him. For my Firepower I paid $14 USD all in. Not sure what he would charge you for what you need but you can email him.
I've built a few MAME cabs. My control panels have always been made of MDF wrapped in vinyl and have t-molding on them. Never thought about using melamine. Have a look here:

You basically need a spade bit for buttons and joystick holes and a slot cutter...
If it's not covered under warranty I can hook you up with a tech that lives in Ajax. Lots of the guys in the hobby know Kim and he's very good. Let me know if you want me to PM his number to you.
If I had seen your post earlier I would have been happy to help a fellow Durhamite (I'm in Pickering). Would have given me an opportunity to see a real live MMR in the flesh! :)
I wouldn't let that stop me. If I wanted it, I would contact the seller. Or I would find a friend in the US that I could ship it to and figure things out from there. I know guys ship to PO boxes just on the US side of the border and pick stuff up.
I know it's an older game and maybe not so...
Here's my address - 1543 Nipissing Court, Pickering, ON, L1V 6T8.
I have brand new levelers so I don't need them unless they are black as well. I think from your pictures they aren't. They will save a bit of weight in shipping. Let me know how much it will cost to send them to me plus the $15...
