Does it do anything else or just change the ball#? Usually if the outhole switch is triggered it also does other things like resetting targets on the playfield and adding the bonuses to the score board. It would also keep activating the solenoid to launch the ball back into the ball shooter lane.

Have you checked on the Pachislo forums? What exactly is it doing or not doing?

Monkeybug would you be able to measure it? As long as its the same width as the backbox it should work. I looked on IPDB and they were both made by Midway in 1992 so I'm guessing they probably used the same cabinets.

Yeah that's customer service 101. They lost an opportunity to gain a future customer and it wouldn't have cost them a dime. Instead they chose to be difficult and lose any chance of a future sale. Not smart business.

What about ordering it through the closest US distributor and making a day trip across the border to pick it up? You could even have it shipped to a receiver on the other side of the border and pick it up there! Possibly Chas at Stern could work that out with a US guy?
