Bumper cap light mod. All games

Funny. When I first saw these I automatically thought that they would go on face-down.

    Building a Dream

Squid, I doubt that would help much since you'd want stairs anyway, so you wouldn't be saving space, you'd be using more. Instead I think a straight set of stairs would work best. I'd then put plywood on the wall side that can fold down to turn it into a ramp.

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

I didn't think that there was a DMD version of Hokus Pokus so I clicked on the link....5 year old pictures of a 40 year old machine. Some one is out to do a little magic.

What the heck do you do for daycare!?

We are just coming off of the daycare train, our girls are now 11, 9 and 7. My wife worked shift work as well, but kept to nights and weekends, so that actually helped as she wouldn't need to go into until mid-day so we only had to pay for half a day. We also just went the homecare route...

    Building a Dream

Since you're just spit-balling here, perhaps adding a holding tank is a reasonable compromise to the cost. We looked at that for our cottage, since like your requirements, it is generally an all or nothing deal. The septic could sit empty for a week or so, then a weekend hits and you have 12...

    Building a Dream

That probably depends on the region. I've seen it go the other way, where 'additions' like a back porch are intentionally not attached to the main framing of the house. Where you can get a permit for a covered patio, but not an addition. You may also want to check to see what that would do...

    Building a Dream

I would think that a wood stove would cause too drastic of a temperature change. I was at our cottage last fall and fired up the wood stove. When I got there, it was -2C inside. Within 2 hrs it was +28C......once you get one cranking out the heat, there is no going back.

    Buying a new car?

I don't put a lot of stock into brand loyalty, just go with what fits at the time and what is the best value at the time. I'm wrapping up use on a 2000 Civic, it's been a good, reliable car, but then again it was made over a dozen years ago, so it's not even close to being the same car as a...

    Buying a new car?

I'm the opposite, I'll never buy a new car again. A year old with the balance of the warranty seems like the best way to go. I'd also check on the fuel economy, some of those small SUVs are relatively pretty good on fuel. They aren't at the level of the compacts, but the gap isn't overly...

    Pinball Lifters

Chris, As Drano mentioned, you might want to think about adding some cross member to pick up the load on the side panels of the cabinet rather than having it push up on the bottom.

    NHL tentative deal

I'd agree, this cup doesn't matter. If you figure in the past, it goes down to the last few games of the season to determine who makes the playoffs. Shorten that and the randomness increases. Take that to the extreme and you've got the World Jrs. where any team on a given day can win. I'll...

    Ikea Food

Even if the food is crap, if you like coffee and you have a dog, this deal is for you. I've yet to set foot in the new Ikea, I don't have the 2hrs and the stamina to make it through.
