Sunshine, in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood, is perhaps one of New York City’s stranger hybrid businesses. Among the conventional washers and dryers are practical jokes, whimsical signs (“Try our gourmet vegetarian washing machines and vegan dryers”) and what aficionados say is one of the city’s top pinball-machine collections.
