Ed is a pretty vocal supporter of our hobby. I have talked to a lot of people who have seen him on city tv etc prompting the silverball.

I was at the show last night, and as usual the boys didn't disappoint. They had a special guest help close the show... Dee Snider came out and they blew the roof off the joint with "We're Not Gonna Take It". Unfortunately Dee took off as soon as the show was over, so wasn't able to meet him.

That was pretty great, and completely unexpected. I also thought it was neat that Ed brought his two sons out to play a song with the band. Not many kids that age can say they've played a sold out Massey Hall show. Fun show overall-I was a little surprised at some of the stuff on the setlist (since I think Silverball is the best song on the new album), but pulling out the Lovers in a Dangerous Time cover was a great callback. Haven't heard that in ages. I also realized as we were talking after the show that this is the first time I've seen them play live post-Steve, so it's good to see they haven't completely cut ties with the old stuff.

I also had no idea that Alan Doyle was writing new stuff-I'll have to check that out.

It was such a fun and entertaining night. Ed's kids were awesome, his retirement plan is set!
