So when you buy a pin direct, from planetary pinball for example, how does it work?

I would assume there are import charges, but would you also pay tax? Brokerage fees?

There are several threads with background info if you do a search, start here:

I bought from TNT Amusement and it was their price + brokerage fee + HST (no 'duty' but you do have to pay HST) + shipping. The key is to add these all up in advance and they multiple by the exchange rate. The end result is when the CAD dollar is at par it can work, when it's less than .80 you are going to get killed on the prices. To save money I should have been more patient but I wanted to get something by Christmas and from that perspective it worked out great.

Cheers.

As said above, price+HST+brokerage. A few years ago I had 2 delivered from USA, showed up at my door, then I had to attend the local shipping depot to speak with customs and pay.

Brought back an F-14 2 years ago, just claimed at the border and pay your HST. Simple stuff....
