Hey everyone. Just wanted to give a PSA to check your wooden side rails on your game. Especially your Bally Williams 90’s games.
I hadn’t played or looked at my Indiana Jones for about 2 years. Then during Covid I decided to start adding LEDs to games.
Once I popped the pf on IJ I could see a warp. The wooded side rails, are vinyl wrapped and the wooded is actually not one piece and is glued together. My glue had led go on both sides.
Gluing the old pieces together was not good. Too much flex. New one piece oak rails still had too much flex. Had to resort to metal rails. In the pictures I have the back 2 screws on the new rail and you can see the amount of warp in the PF.
Now the pf is back to straight.
