Game 67: Size Does Matter!
ColorDMD is excited to announce that Godzilla is the 67th title to be supported by the ColorDMD multicolor display platform! The color display for Godzillapremiered at Chicago Pinball Expo earlier this month to rave reviews.
Eric Priepke enlisted to battle the "giant lizard" for the benefit of some well-known and devout Gojira fans, giants of the hobby in their own right. With a production run of only 500 games, we were expecting limited interest in this title but based on thestrong response we received at Expo, Eric's work struck a chord with Godzilla and pinball enthusiasts alike!
This is Eric's 14th ColorDMD release, following work on DH, GI, CP, NF, TFTC, JY, RBION, TWD, SMVE, SM, Batman, IM, and Flintstones. After eight title releases this year alone, we've published Eric's bio enough. If you read these announcements, you've seenit. Just know that he's awesome, and we're very happy he works on projects for us.
Eric would also like people to know that he lives in Wisconsin, not Wisconcin, where they like pinball almost as much as cheese and the Packers. Eric also recently visited New York. [Not necessarily exciting or relevant, but a segue into this serious lookingself portrait...]
We'd also like to thank Hilton Jones and Scott Weir for their assistance with development and exhibition of this title at Expo!
The ColorDMD for Godzilla pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installedSIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms.
