FS Gauging Interest on reproduction cabinets

Thinking about doing some reproduction cabinets as a change in gears for a bit.

Haven't nailed down a price yet, would prefer to flatpack them as DIY assembly but I don't always get what I want .... :D

If they have to be assembled they could probably be sprayed since there's a spray booth available as well. No idea what my buddy who owns the shop would want for that yet.

Just seeing if there's even a demand for it at this point.

Let me know if there's interest and I'll look into spending the time on doing up some pricing.

LOL, actually I had one that I converted to a Centaur.

What I've done before:

William's Bally WPC era (Drano among others bought a few of those)
William's SS era - High Speed (eh97ac got that one), etc
Bally SS era- Silverball Mania, Supersonic, etc
Back box light board reproductions
Shadow box wall hangers for old backglasses
All sorts of other custom cnc/ traditional woodworking stuff

With a donor cab for measurement, I can do any cab.

There are some decent sites for comparable prices like virtuapin or game room solutions. My buddy bought a virtuapin cab for a homebrew and it is very well made and cut nicely. Those costs are american dollars and they arent cheap... tough to say what kind of market there would be here... especially if you had big shipping costs to add on.

Sorry Guys, took a weekend off from the internet.

So it looks like I can do the cabinets in Baltic Birch plywood close to par with the Virtuapin pricing.
Material cost and shop overhead is becoming cost prohibitive as inflation drives everything up.

WPC cabinets:

Standard/Widebody, assembled, clear sealing coat to prevent warping/twisting with a light sanding $900CAD

As above with a painted finish is still to be determined, I have to do one to get an exact figure so I'll be doing up a sample so that I have some pics to post to verify that I can actually do these for you. You can't just believe everything you read on the internet :D

I'm hoping to price the finishing in the $350 - $400 range but it's going to come down to what the shop owner charges based on time and materials.

I'll need some pics and possibly confirmation measurements of the inside of the cabinet to be done to verify the cut file matches the cabinet to be replaced since they moved holes and mounts all over the place from model to model at the factory.

Bally/Stern/William's SS cabinets:

Standard width, assembled, clear sealing coat to prevent warping/twisting with a light sanding, include the light panel in the design if I can find the reference $1200-$1300CAD

The extra mill work in the trim pieces is the killer here, the price of pine is astronomical at the moment and there is a fair amount used in the back box

Once again the finishing cost is up in the air as above.

Oddballs (Gottlieb, Chicago Coin, Bally/Midway, etc)

Going to have to go on a piece by piece basis and will likely need to have a reference cab to go by.

Late Model Stern/Spike/Spike2

Still have to get some dimensions and do up the cut files from them. Pricing undetermined at this point as I need to take a day and find something to measure up.

I'll probably get a chance to get a WPC sample together next week so that I can get some pictures up.
