I have 2 pins, I'd like to invite a bunch of friends over for a friendly tournament. But I'm not sure how to run it.

So my question to those who are more experienced... with my 2 pins, how would you put it together? How many people would you invite, how would you match them up, etc...

any tips would be appreciated.

There's a lot of helpful info at the papa site

Really depends on how many people and everyone's skill level. You could divide up everyone into the competitive folks and those who aren't very good but enjoy playing.

Could be as simple as each person gets 5 games on each machine, add up their best score on each machine, then rank everyone. Top 2 face off against each other on both machines and you have a winner.

Adding up points isn't a great method since a bad game on AFM is going to blow away an awesome game on MM. Unless your two pins have pretty balanced scoring between them, it would be best to award points for finishing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc on a particular pin and then do the same for the other one.
You could also do an elimination style tournament with heats of people going head to head on one game and progressing through to the playoffs. Maybe have a round robin to start and help figure out the match-ups.
Problem is, people who get eliminated may get bored.
Talk to Menace. I'm sure he'd have some ideas.
