SOLD HUO Stern POTC

I have a Stern POTC up for trade. I got it from a lady who admitted it was an impulse purchase while she was in an entertainment store because it had Johnny Depp on the back glass. I assume it would have been cheaper to buy a poster but to each their own. HUO. The game has 341 plays as of now, that will change as I will play it this weekend and until it sells. Everything works. I recently replaced the opto’s for the ship, everything else is stock.

A very good and fun game. Lots of cool toys on this one, the playfield is equivalent to a premium in 2024. Might not be as deep as a modern game in regards to tasks but it sure as hell looks the part. This was made before Stern introduced the tier system (Pro, Premium, LE). I was at the festival in Collingwood and after spending time on P1’s Stern row the POTC near the exit looked expensive lol

Anyhow, with all that being said, while it is a blast to play and sink the ship, I am interested in trading this for something with deeper rules, so I would like something along the lines of a Spike/Spike 2 game in regards to ruleset. I also have cash to add. Curious to see what's out there

I would not be disappointed if I ended up keeping the POTC as I genuinely enjoy playing it, but I’m motivated to trade, hence the reason I’m posting this add. The game is located between Orangeville and Brampton, somewhat near Georgetown, Ontario. Ground level, easy loading, maybe 20 feet from the door, or I can come your way. Whatever works. Anyone interested in a trade would be more than welcome to come by before hand to inspect it and try it out to ensure they’re happy.

On this era of Stern pins, the total plays reset with a code update or is easily zeroed in the settings. It is likely a lower play count if truly HUO, but impossible to confirm actual plays. I simply look at the shooter lane and for any playfield wear.

Shooter lane is the least of your worries on this game.

2 things two check on POTC: main ramp for breaks and cracks and ship hull and sails. These is extremely hard to find.

I can take closeups of those parts. I wasn't aware that you could do that with the play counts. I'm not trying to mislead anyone. If there are other ways to show condition I'm open to suggestions

I've attached photos of the sails, the boat, the chest, the shooter lane, play field and ramps. I used a halogen industrial work light (drywall etc) to try to make sure the pics are bright, but it resulted in some glare/reflection. Hopefully this helps show condition. Thanks for the advice

I didn't take it aa such, I appreciate the feedback as I was ignorant to the information and wouldn't want someone to find out after the fact and feel potentially mislead. I will always be open to advice and ideas on how to present the photos better to avoid any unintentional surprises.
