Got a chance to play the new MET Remastered at the open house at P1. They really didn't have it leveled well. Game played extremely fast and was not fun at all. Lots of flying balls and ball jumped around like crazy. It was probably a good thing they had it set up like they did as it probably saved me $$ in the future. Will stick to my original MET Pro, didn't really see any benefit to the new game. Although I did like the skulls on the shooter lanes. Definitely need to add those to my game.
Played it at Expo, was fun to play. Hard to judge a game when it is not leveled and setup like crap. I mean, there is no fun pin no matter what if it's setup bad.
The layout is pretty standard, GotG, Met... It's got some cool mechs, they added some modes, songs, callouts, revamped the art and you get the LCD with live footage.
Is it a new revelation and pushing the boundaries of pinball, no. But it's a very nice refresh on Metallica and stern saw they were leaving money on the table when people were reselling the original Met at higher price vs msrp... So I guess this is a win for them and the people that wanted a Met,but didn't want to pay above NiB price. Not sure it warrants a full replacement of the OG one if you have one, but can't say since I never owned one.

I played at Expo and I thought it was fantastic with the ELs, video and expanded music/callous. Is it worth upgrading, probably not but if I was buying again today I would get a premium remaster for sure.
Maybe it wasn't set up properly...

Looking forward to trying it. I currently have a 2016 Premium. Interested to know if its worth the upgrade. A lot of folks saying no and some yes...to be determined. 
Anyone getting a Met R LE in Canada? If so, post pics, saw it in person at Expo and it's phenomenal.
