I don't know how I feel about that machine. Kinda weird, kinda cool. I don't think it's for me, but I don't know.... I enjoy virtual pin, and this is more real than a virtual pin.... But I don't know.

The ball tracking is a little much, but it's a neat idea. I'd still like to try it out for myself, but just from the video, it looks like the games for this are going to be pretty barren. I don't think the interaction with the virtual stuff is going to be near as satisfying, so maybe if the top (replaceable) bit of PF extended further down? Might be a great location platform though.

I played it at Replay FX and though it was the perfect meld between digital pinball and physical pinball.

If you like the digital Zen studious pinball games and the stuff they have to offer, this is as close as you are going to get to that with actual pinball.

Right, but the Zen stuff has more that interacts with the ball in the bottom/mid field. From the video, it looks like the bottom 70% of the game is just the stuff on the screen, which means that even though you can "hit" things, it's no more than a rollover switch (unless they have something where the entire top layer can be magnetized at different points).
