Rapid Fire is it a pin?

I saw a rapid fire on Detroit CL for $1000.
I remember playing it back in the day.
Itis flipperless.
But is it really a pinball?
Or just an extra large shooting/gun game?
The purist in me says NO (the flipperless era came and left)

The Rapid Fire/Hyperball gun game experiment came and went quite quickly. They are the size of a pinball machine, but more of a solid state shooting game than a pinball proper. Hopes were high for these shooting games but demand was not. Unused/unsold Rapid Fire cabs were repourposed by Bally to make the eyesores that are Eight Ball Deluxe LE and Centaur II.
