Anyone ever done this? Any companies you would recommend? Is there a lot of paperwork or red tape?

Forward Air. Needs to be on a pallet and you need to deliver to the FA terminal, and the customer on the other end has to pick it up from the FA terminal but it's pretty painless. The customer will need to clear the shipment themselves beforehand, but it's a matter of taking the paperwork to the local customs office and having them stamp it.
