Had a pack of venturer scouts over yesterday to play. Those are the oldest teenager scouts. My wife is a scout leader and was showing pics of the arcade and they wanted to come check it out. So it was cool to have a bunch of teenagers spend a couple of hours playing pinball without their parents dragging them.

Yesterday I did two service calls and worked on a total of 9 different machines, including a Joust vid that I sold 5 or 6 years ago. Got to the call not realizing it was my old machine, the owner didn't recognize me.

Thankfully most of the repairs were pretty simple and straight forward. The two worst ones were having to install a battery holder on a LOTR (why it was removed wasn't obvious), and diagnose and repair a failed TIP107 in the lamp section of a Funhouse. I got to work on Spiderman, Theatre of Magic, Funhouse, Party Zone, Lord of the Rings, The Adams Family, Twilight Zone, Ripley's Believe it or Not and Joust. It was a full day.

I received some new springs for my High Speed from Playdium.
I love the fast UPS shipping. (especially when it's within the country and no brokerage...)
I had a spare flipper spring but had put in the the kickback mech as it was really weak. When the top right flipper spring broke on the weekend it was a real pain to put the old weak spring in just to fix the flipper.
So, I purchased a new kickback rod as the tip on mine was really worn and a number of springs so I can have a few spares lying around for quick fixes.
A 5 minute fix job and my kickback is working the best it has ever with it reaching the top right flipper or higher when used.
also did my yearly battery swap on the weekend and re-programmed to hard difficulty to make things more challenging. Maybe my wife will figure out it's harder to score... maybe not...
I really don't mind the easy repairs....

High Speed 100% (currently)

Played pinball with my boys!

You know you love your kids when you let them drool all over your $300 sheet of glass :D

Rebuilt the flippers on a client's T2 and fixed the lights in the T1000 head. Had to do a few minor adjustments, and it was good to go! At some point I will eventually get to work on my own games. lol

Moved my DE's out to the garage. They have hit the trading block and likely will be gone today.

Had not expected to see them go as soon as they did, but I had fun cleaning them up and am happy to start my next ones.

Next on list for a deep clean is Black Rose.
