someone is supposedly coming out to look at it today.(the black out) the mpu and sound boards he had rebuilt . seems a lot of people see a game in ads and are always asking if those are for sale. he has gotten more inquiries for the space shuttle than the blackout. lol. The only drawback for that game is its location. this video was done by dan beeson some years ago..

Very cool - thanks for sharing! I'm definitely someone who appreciates the art on those older EM machines too. Good for him for bringing them back to life, and preserving such a cool part of history and pop culture. What a perfect space for a pin collection too! The *real* church of the silver ball (lol).

I totally agree on an SS game first, especially since there are so many good SS sci-fi themed pins from the 80's.

Find something like a Firepower and start with that. Yes, I'm biased because I own one. There are a billion of them out there (okay, 17410 of them). You can probably find a decent one for a good price. I really like Space Shuttle as well but they are hard to come by in good shape at a reasonable price.

You're probably right about Space Shuttle. Firepower is definitely on my list too! I'd also really love a TX-Sector and/or Robo-War, but those are probably tough to find and not as affordable as a result. I'd also be happy with a Meteor, Galaxy, Solar Fire or Flight 2000 as well. I'd include my whole list, but don't want to risk hijacking this thread too badly. I appreciate all the advice (I certainly need it)!

Here's something for those of you with slightly deeper pockets than myself. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I had the cash:

Rococop - $3175 - Vaughan

So, this one's a scam... If anybody's wondering.

$45k collection in Ottawa is legit - not mine, but I know the seller.
So is the Maiden- brand new and he’s only had it a few weeks. All machines in excellent condition.

The Iron Maiden seems to be the deal of the lot. Getting a new game for no taxes basically... and a drive to Ottawa :)

Piece by piece... my reference to "lot" was not meant to imply that they had to be purchased as a lot, the link I posted was a link to all items listed buy one seller, rather than posting them all individually. Sorry for any confusion.
