I sold 4 working displays, the master and the cables from my Firepower for $100 to someone on the forum. I'm not sure about the displays for Space Shuttle but I'm sure deals can be found somewhere.

Just a warning to anyone considering this Fireball to keep in mind it is the "home" edition and not the same as the full machine Fireball Classic. Parts for this home edition is hard to find or non existent so if something breaks or fails you pretty much have a big paper weight.

Anyone know the Space Shuttle seller? Might be interested if the price doesn't get really stupid.

Save yourself a trip to Keswick. It's really really beat. I couldn't believe he still had it for sale. So I went up there last night to have a look at it and walked away. Didn't even try to talk him down. Asked how many others had been by to look at it and he said some dealer came from Guelph. I'm like he offered $1k? He said he offered him $1300... I wouldn't even be comfortable offering $1k. It needs a new playfield for sure. It's beat and the mylar job was applied over all the planking and scuffing.

Thanks for the info. Did you get a chance to play it or check out the guts? There's a company starting to offer "hardtops" for certain games on Pinside - https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/space-shuttle-new-prototype-playfield-product. Half the price of CPR playfields. This may be an option if the rest of the game is okay. Could be a nice project but I certainly wouldn't pay him a whole lot if its beat to hell. Too bad, it's a fun game.

Honestly I was so turned off by the playfield I didnt even care to flip the switch on. Never even tried the game before, so this was rare, but I just didn't care to even consider it. I know it would just be a headache from beginning to end. Look at the ad, no pics of the playfield for a reason. I asked him over the phone the condition, said it was good. He has no idea really and thinks because he looked on ebay and saw some retarded price of $3kUSD that a good condition one is $3k here so that's why he' asking $1700. He would have to twist my arm at $1k to take it. lol And I enjoy projects.

For that game at that price, if it was in good condition, there's no way he would still have it for sale. And based on what spikedbat reported back there is an obvious reason it isn't gone yet.
My quote to my buddy on the way driving there... Something has to be up with Shuttle if he hasn't sold it over the weekend for $1600 like he said he was firm at. The guy is a nice guy, but doesn't really know too much about pinball and value. He looked online, saw some of them selling for like $3k USD, (well posted for that) and thinks that since his isnt mint he can command $1700 for it. He is moving so that's why he's selling it. Honestly i'm not lying I'd be hesitant even at $1000. And I don't mind projects. But the playfield is beat in my opinion. I"m sure if you started to dig into it even more you'd notice other things are rough too etc. Not to mention the display isn't working right off the bat.

Claims he was offered $1300, he should have taken it if so. I didnt even bother to low ball him bc I don't want to be stressing over dealing with that pinball.

I restored and then eventually solda space shuttle that was actually floating around these parts for sale a little while ago for an insane amount of money. I bought it about 3 years ago and was in about the same shape as this one for $600.00 .

I know who has your game and I play it regularly. You did a nice job on it. I'd consider buying this guys machine for $600 but I don't think he would sell it for that little.
