resetting high score

Hi, I'm having an issue resetting the high score on my Jungle lord machine. I advance to setting 13 and held Down what I think is the reset button but nothing changes. Does anyone have a similar machine that might know what I am doing wrong? The reset I think is the red button on the coin door.

When you get to the high score in setting 13, push the start button to change the value.

I figured it out, it was something small. You have to set 13 to a score, then exit the settings, then press the reset score button. I was pressing reset while in the settings
