And picked up! Thanks @ritewhereiwant2b! Really nice to meet you, sorry I had to run, could have chatted much longer, but my daughter was getting tired waiting in the car :D
I don't think anyone is naive enough to think a game just came out of the box, I think it's pretty normal that for sale ads have more than their fair share of hyperbole in them. The dude said he didn't reset the audits, what proof could some actually give that they didn't? He didn't say he was...
I genuinely don't care if it has been played 1000 times or 10 times, I don't care if it sat in the box for 16 years or sat in a bar or bowling alley... I don't... the only thing that matters to me is the condition and the price. If the two are aligned pay the man and move on. He didn't claim it...
It really doesn't matter if there is a stitch of documentation or proof supplied... luch is right, condition is king... and it looks to be in spectacular shape! GLWS.
Newer games have so much more complexity to them, I think its amazing. Monster Bash is a real looker, but easy to get to the end of. If you want something new to do on it though shoot for Lyman's Lament. 44 shots into the scoop. GLWS, beautiful looking game.
I've never actually seen one of these in the wild, the promotional pictures left me with the impression that the melon box crate was essentially the legs for the game... are there different cases or have those pictures deceived me as this one has legs and the crate.
Awesome that you did this, not surprised to hear they are a bit of work and not worth the effort without the tools. The crimping advice is on point, I bought a cheap one and paid for it, I would have been better off with pliers so good crimpers are a good investment!
There is an alternative now...
I understand that, though I do wonder if Nitro has inventory and P1 doesn't and isn't getting inventory for months and months if Nitro may be allowed to ship east? Unfortunate but not surprising that the buyer gets the short end of the stick.
Hard to tell in the current market, 7 or 8 months ago I believe I sold mine for $7,200 with a shaker but the market is considerably hotter now. Anything north of $8K on a used Stern that will be available NIB now or in the next 6 - 12 months and I'm taking NIB all day long.
I think the most unique thing about the Stranger Things Prem/LE is the projector, if I was going Stranger Things this is one where I'd go Prem/LE 100% for sure, that and the telekinesis ball lock, pretty sure that isn't on the Pro.
That is a beautiful game, never heard of a vault edition GOT, but regardless of that it looks to be in immaculate shape! Someone will be very happy with this, I really enjoyed the pro when I had one. GLWS.
It really is smoother, much more flow on the pro too... the extra magnet and the crossbow and bg ramp all slow the game down... now I still think the Premium/LE is awesome, so I'm not knocking it, if I were to buy a TWD again I'd go that route just to play something different, but the Pro is a...
