I would suggest the current pinside listed value when you look up each machine.
There's a replacement value in USD based on current sales.
Or just take a drive to Kingston and take pics of the ones in the retail showroom and scare the hell out of them.
If you are going to buy, you may as well use Nitro.
There is nothing like the smell of new in box.
I started out and tried 'the exchange club'. You pay way less privately.
Ask a local pinball owner to go with you to look. Check the audits.
Have a wish list and stick to it, that game you started...
I have not got to put in some time on a Godzilla or Jurrassic Park.
I just was not a huge fan of the spinning jeep. On the one I did play.
Aerosmith and Heavy Metal it seems like an afterthought.
I have only had a few titles with shakers, Checkpoint was the only OG came with shaker that has...
I have owned a few titles with shaker (support). Some it just seems like an afterthought.
So far, Stern Elvis does it best in my opinion.
You have to earn 'All shook up'
How about you?
If you have a list of titles you want to try.
You can always try the pinside tools.
Machines, the title you want, check out the map, creep someone nearby that has one.
I found a person close to me with a Judge Dredd not that I ever got to play it. But it did find some new pin owners close to me...
I went to some shows,
Played many pins,
Made a short list of the ones I liked.
Had my cash ready,
Jumped on one of my short listers that came up at an acceptable price.
Why am I always tempted by these machines that are more than the balance of the mortgage....
I just don't want to sell anything to make room.
I am sure it will be gone fast.
Sorry but Stern Heavy Metal is the least popular recent release.
Cuz, I own one.
And they didn't even manage to sell 100
And even then my value is awesome.
On the fence. Now that I have 2 newer machines nothing ever breaks down.
I recall the days of 3 machines, that one works, the other 2 are.....
If Deadpool isn't next my wife will be not fun to live with.
Damn, my personal kryptonite.
Someone buy this up and finish it.
Then I can buy it.
There are a few kits for the drop targets that I would heavily suggest to anyone looking at this.
Scott Kurt (St Thomas) has my old one, has also worked on it a bit through the years of owning it.
Great title...
My game freezes.
Stern informed me to change the SD card 1st, before jumping to buy a new CPU card.
New SD has to be class 10 to access the data fast enough to run the game.
I have no access to a SD card writer.
Had to call a local computer guy and order one.
I had to call a few local places to find someone who has a SD card reader/writer.
My current SD is quite a few revisions behind.
Does anyone on here offer SD card (loaded with the data) sales/service?
Brad
