The wiggle room on NIB is $200-300. Not much of a battle likely.
This game might be a slow burn, a lot of cool ideas in the code if they turn out to be fun.
That's a fair comment Mike but as always ymmv. Can always ask for the numbers from the distro I suppose.
I think Nitro allows you to pay USD if you prefer as Chambahz mentioned. MaybeManaLounge will let you do that also?
100%. Pins priced in USD - CAD can fluctuate and move the price C$50-60 in a day sometimes,
I guess it also shows you are getting same MSRP as Americans, I have heard people say things like "we get ripped off here in Canada because of all the duty". Fact is there is no duty on pinball machines...
I feel like higher priced machines (esp LEs) are harder to move right now. Makes sense if people are cutting back on buying "stuff". Post pandemic people have been hit hard with higher rates and inflation, and locations usually won't buy LEs. Just my theory.
That FF LE is super tempting. LE for...
Supply also a consideration. Numbers are impossible to know but I'd bet there are a fairly large number of FF and Bond games out there. They both came out when the pinball market was much healthier. Bonds got dumped by people that were frustrated with the earlier code. I noticed a lot of caution...
Not necessarily true that short ownership will be more painful. I think it has more to do with the desirablity of a title.
As an example, I think if a used Jaws premium came up for sale today it could probably fetch cost less $1000. I can't see a Venom premium getting within $2000 of cost...
The days of coming out flat on NIB are gone. Best thing you can do is play before you buy to make sure it's something you like.
With a little luck maybe we see a P1 JW pro at the Central Ontario Pinball show.
