My game is a late build but still needed a bunch of adjusting. I did everything needed to make it play great, including installing two magnetic switches on the inner loop, as the standard switches kept missing balls that passed over them. Game plays great now!

I suppose it's a combination of two things... 1) this title in particular sold out in a matter of hours, and there aren't many on Canadian soil. 2) As many have said, the current state of pinball is that demand far outweighs supply, especially on sought after titles, driving up prices to crazy...
