I went to the Cineplex at Yonge/Eglington today and was disappointed there was not one pinball there. Just shooters, drivers and kiddie gambling machines.

People have turned them into clocks. Here is an EM example: http://www.crowriver.com/clock/ I am sure with a Raspberry Pi or Arduino and some tech skills, you could make something.

This looks interesting. Lots of potential but I can't help think that replacing the DMD, not the translite, is the answer.

Forgot to mention this. Ed is great for order large amounts of pins/connectors. He also knows pinball and can field your questions. Certain connectors are not good to use.

Buy something today and enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it tomorrow, sell it and move on. If you do enjoy it tomorrow, keep it and look for another game. More than a decade in this hobby, my tastes still change. I think if you truly love pinball, you won't just be happy with A-list titles only.
