I would be in for a container pin or two, but those days are long past I believe.
I would be surprised if anyone really attempts one with the current conditions.
I think it is bad pin karma to post something for sale before you possess it.
I don't have my usual "command" of the english language...
Thank you for all for your wishes gents.
A great day for both my son and myself.
It is good to share a b-day with your child.
All the very best. Thank you.
When Frolic and G-man actually drive and go get a container of pins? (I'm in)
That will be the day gents fo sho. Go for it, like many of us have done so.
Otherwise, let it go and stop indicating you know more than
those of us that go and actually "do things" for the community.
That is all...
Container pin times are over.
I have never owned one, ever.
I helped friends procure pins, sure.
In the end, a waste of my time really.
For friends though?
No problem.
Moving on.
The facts are this. (very simple)
Drano and I drove a long way for the last container "o" pins.
We said that "that was it". And it really was, so we are all done now.
I had "NO" pins on that train, have none, and good luck for the future.
Re: Alouette Special - IFPA Pinball Charity Tournament 22/07
Huh! I love "IFPA points"! Any day of da week!!!
Three "new" Stern's I can play well on a good day..
All the best with the event gentlemen. I might fly-in.
Not sure just yet; I will not know until Sunday though.
To clarify my earlier post, I have paid for Predator in full. I like the theme/pin.
I am happy to wait until it arrives and I have confidence in Kevin and Skit-B.
If this is the next release for Skit-B, the theme does not appeal to me.
Much the same as WoZ didn't interest me for JJP's first...
100 % agree Glenn. That is what I meant. We can't argue with these statistics.
As average sales $ per used machine goes up, and number of units sold falls,
the manufacturers want our $ instead and their sales teams want us to buy
new pins as there are fewer and fewer "used" pins available...
No thanks. Sorry. I don't buy into it.
Not sure if Kevin is kidding or not just yet.
I don't really care. Not a saleable pin to me at all.
I "sold" Predator as a theme, design + pin to many collectors.
Moving on.
That is all.
Cheers.
Math is Math.
On a graph or not.
Manufacturers try to "read" the demand from consumers.
Then, the whole "economy" of our sales systems tries to follow suit.
To buy? Or to ignore it all? That is the true question. Up to you.
No debate needed. Only you can decide that as an individual consumer...
