Nope, your are not crazy Rob. It is just very "advanced planning".
If you "KNOW" you are buying the game one day, (no matter what) no harm done.
Lots of us stockpile parts now planning for what we will do "one day" down the road.
Most of these games are in very poor shape and need a lot of work.
Dave Astill's "for sale" pin on kijijij, here, and on maaca is a fair sale.
Dave's is average condition for this pin. Super great fun pin!
Always loved MM.
Just pure fun.
I am building one from scratch still. (long proj.)
I also have an LE or (whatever) repro coming.
I just want to play it and enjoy it.
The rest doesn't matter at all.
I find it best when Drano is doing a project to just say "yes" if he offers involvement to you.
Then you can deal with the consequences of what that means later. lol. No regrets then.
Seriously Drano, these look damn sweet!
This is Josh's buddy.
Josh (MadTitan) runs the Ottawa Pinball show. Good human.
Josh and Geoff (Pinhead) will keep all the games up and running.
A great destination which I plan to frequent, every trip to Ottawa.
All the best gents!
Today I took a drive and delivered Drano his first and only vid. (She is a biggun!)
It gets garage status only, near the beer fridge I think.
This week, I have 9 pins up on legs at my shop, 6 working, 3 under restoration.
My parts from Mike Chesnut are done, shipped and on route here already...
Oh, we wants some..........
So, I put my first sheet of PDI glass into Indiana Jones. (1993 Williams)
I cannot believe the difference.
Amazing.
Fantastic mod option.
That is what we are all here for.
Doug is the very best. (In this region - we all know this!)
Admin, and mentor (repair guru) to a couple of us here.
All the very best!
