The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

Got a chance to fix a glaring eyesore on the Mousin' Around I brought home from Allentown. The pop bumper skirts were literally disintegrating...or, more fitting, looked like they were chewed up by mice (the ultimate mod for MA?). I rebuilt all three; new skirts, bodies, sockets and sleeves...

SOLD Simpsons pinball party & Ironman!

I was also taken by the colours on that TSPP...most look washed out and tired. GLWS.

    Common/Rare Canadian Games

I guess it boils down to the 'Flavour of the Month' effect, too. One game pops up for sale and a few more follow suit looking to cash in. Kind of skews what is really out there. I can remember also remember a few years back when everyone and their brother had a Comet for sale on Kijiji...that...

    Tim's Gottlieb Dragon thread

If you have access to Pinball Ninja, check out his entry for Gamatron which talks about controlling the behaviour of LEDs in these older games.

    The Magnificient Marble Machine

I'll bet a Bally 6803 is still heavier than that monstrosity.

    Common/Rare Canadian Games

It's all relative. I've seen more Volleys in Canada than I have Big Indian, Fast Draw and Hot Shot games combined, and each of those games at least triple Volley in production numbers.

    Common/Rare Canadian Games

It seems that there are certain titles that are more plentiful in Ontario/Quebec than others, despite the production run numbers. Likewise, there are some games that just never come up for sale and are never spotted in private collections. I'll start, only because I've done the legwork on this...

    One Quarter At A Time

Whoever did the filming of the machines from the player perspective was doin' some serious monkey flipping.

Hammer of the Gods (CPR conversion)

Eek...maybe I'm just not a fan of the art style...it's kind of a dog's breakfast...not to mention the photo images mixed in. That "Z" on Godz is also dreadful...

    PINBALL PIMP Cab Stencils

The Pimp's Pinbot stencils look fantastic, too. If you are going to own a 4K Pinbot, you're gonna want a good looking cabinet, right?

    Zidware upcoming Sh*t Storm

His best and most affordable game, to be sure. The rest are an exercise in style over substance.

    Heighway Pinball Production Update

Well placed Ghostbusters and Back to the Future posters hung in the background of that video. Is it a coincidence those two franchises appear on the walls of this pinball factory in two separate workspaces?

    Zidware upcoming Sh*t Storm

I'm personally a fan of the "Don't sue, or I'll file for bankruptcy and you'll lose all your dough" threat. And I thought I made bad decisions with my pinball money...but JPop takes the cake!
