I too was blown away by what Clay has put together. If this kind of open house happens again, you owe it to yourself to go. Nice to meet PBRev's own dos.reboot, who was staffing the WPC aisle.
A few words about the VFW are posted on my site...
Scored an interview with Nate Shivers of the Coast 2 Coast Pinball podcast.

I'm in. No brainer donation to the go-to guy for timely answers to (sometimes dumb) repair questions on PBRev. Eventually, we will all need the services of Mr. J. Santiago...so open your wallets folks!
Great cause, thanks for riding, Doug.
I've used a sheet of Lexan and a Dremel tool...oh, and a steady hand. The Lexan resists chipping and cracking...the Dremel cuts through it like butter.
Taking a look at the Gottlieb System 1 solid state platform...the good and mostly bad about this troubled era for poor Gottlieb.

I'm creating this thread to begin a running log of updates to http://creditdotpinball.com. Instead of interjecting in threads with shameless plugs, I'll post them all here so they can be easily ignored if you so choose.
This article marks my 20th post on the site...exploring three translites...
Tore down my Fire! over the last few days right down to the wood. To say it was dirty would be an understatement. Did some deep cleaning on both the playfield and the playfield parts. Torn if I should put it back together or just wait to see if I get the email for a CPR playfield...they are...
I'll probably get a replacement, then practice my soldering skills on this board to see if I can get it back in working order. I have a couple of games that use this board, so it will be nice to monkey around with it to try and get a spare.
I got a pass from my pregnant wife to go to Allentown this year, and I didn't think I'd be able to make this event. I put in a ton of elbow grease this week to get the nursery organized and painted, basically ignoring all of my Pinfest purchases, in hopes of slyly suggesting that since...
Opened up my Fire last night. Under playfield looks mint. The backbox however held some bad news. Corrosion on the MPU. Attached is a pic of the affected area. To some of the veterans...this board is toast right? The game boots and the power supply checks good. I get a "bong" but no LEDs...
Wonder if I made it in the final cut. He was on site when I bought my Fire and asked me a few questions about it. I'll have to make time to sit down and watch it to find out.
Thanks Tim and Scott. There are lots of topics that get lost in the shuffle of daily life and topic bumps. I hope to cover those areas of this great hobby.
It will be tough getting a foothold in such a niche community, but I will try my best. The best advice I got so far was from Don of the...
Against my better judgement, I’ve decided to start a blog. “Blog” is kind of a dirty word and it probably doesn’t describe what I’m attempting. I needed a way to post long-form, opinion-oriented, essay-style writing about pinball in an easy-to-read format. I think long-form writing is a void...
