You should also look at a Grand Lizard.

For the mid 80s I really enjoy Grand Lizard and I really miss mine. Sell it back to me Drano :-) For the 70s probably the original Fireball EM.

I think I was looking at the same A13 you were and yeah I agree, it's about 1k overpriced. IMO. Very nice machine though.

This one you posted pics of is some knob on pinside who didn't realize he had to turn down his contrast on his colorDMD. Once he turned the contrast down it look good.
