I went and did a service call on a newer Stern tonight for a friend. Diagnosis seems accurate. I will order parts, install and report back. Thanks to all the veterans here for guidance when I have questions to ask to make sure I am on the right track. Getting out there to fix things on your own...

Re: Cactus Canyon now on Pinball Arcade! I saw Adriano's CC about 2 weeks ago. Looks like a very neat game. He was about to strip it all down, but if there is a delay in that, I will be sure to play it next time I go by. The P-roc software sounds like an amazing improvement.

Re: Favourite SS (what is your?) Whoa, "no ramps no DMD's, no thanks rule" from Wongneau has a potential to be broken one day yet perhaps! Although, I am pretty sure there are no DMD's in Mike's basement currently he would let go even for Radical.

What is your favourite DMD? (because?) STTNG for me. It was the only DMD at my university. And so it was the first one I learned to play.

What is your favourite SS machine? Any era will do. Space Shuttle. 1984 Williams. For me, nothing else is better; or got more quarters out of me than this single machine.

What is your favourite EM and why? Volley is it for me. 15 Drop Targets of pure awesome! Great social gathering pinball machine to play.
