I have a shorted coil on my MET on the disappearing ball unit. I have the new coil but was wondering if anyone has a tip on how to remove the Loctite from the washer and the threaded rod without bending or breaking anything? Thanks in advance if anyone has a tip Mike Sent from my Pixel 2 XL...

Who's playing my Met premium the other day and notice electrical burn smell. Shut machine off and notice that the coffin magnet was extremely hot. F7 fuse blew and check the resistance of the coffin magnet which Is shorted. I understand that I have to replace the coil but was just wondering why...
