    Happy Birthday Pinball Revolution

Here's to twenty more! Three cheers for a place where all can freely speak their mind!

Not a work day today...or else I would agree!

New SHADOW alternate translite and speaker panel

If I'm ever lucky enough to own a Shadow, I'm going to opt to buy the alternate translite featuring STEPHEN Baldwin. And you thought Alec was creepy...

    Another pinball celeb in print!

I just checked my past emails from you, and that is the way your name pops up in my inbox, so I assume this why Jonathan credited you the way he did. I was reading the magazine before bed, and remarked to my wife that your name got into the magazine (having met you before). She didn't seem all...

how many machines on 15amp circuit?

Finding this thread helpful...basement reno starts after the Xmas holidays, and it will be good information to refer to. I'll probably stick with three per 15A to be safe, as it seems to be the consensus. My collection is at a spot now where I have to worry about such things...and also prepare...

Dutch Pinball presents Road Kings 2.0

So BOP is a $1500 game, and needs a $1500 Dutch equipment upgrade. Now Road Kings, a $1000 game, will probably need the same $1500 upgrade. Less of an investment, but also a less beloved game. Wonder if they have their sights set on Funhouse...a game that LOOKS like it should have had a DMD...

New SHADOW alternate translite and speaker panel

Ya...I believe I did say "historical accuracy". We all have our preferences as to the look and feel of our gamerooms. I don't own a museum, and I am not a "minty mint" collector...I just prefer to have my machines take on the overall look they did in the 90s when I played them in an arcade...

    Another pinball celeb in print!

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I figured it deserved its own thread. Our own DRANO has his name in print in Pinball Magazine #2. He is credited in the White Water section of the Dennis Nordman feature. Congrats...really cool to be named in an international periodical! Now if I...

75th Anniversary Edition WOZ LE coming in 2014

Ya...here is JJP trying to steal some thunder back after the MMR announcement...and red rails with toys that will be available separately won't do it, I'm afraid. Better hope they get the Hobbit out before the AFMR is available for pre-sale... The race to the 10K NIB is on!

New SHADOW alternate translite and speaker panel

Looks awesome. Great work all around. I'm on the fence about switching out art for alternates. It distorts history and alters the original vision. But hell, if they all looked this good...I'd be all for the swap out! I have a feeling if I got a chance to play this game I'd be hooked.

    America's Most Haunted Promo Video

There is no shortage of talking about big boobs and (supposedly) hot chicks by the Spooky Pinball guys. I like boobs and hot girls as much as (maybe more than) the next guy, but it comes off as cringe-inducing, frat house unprofessionalism at times with these guys.

75th Anniversary Edition WOZ LE coming in 2014

Good lord. I hear blue and white checkered rails on the Dorothy LE, $10K. Toto edition is $14K, but it comes with a real puppy in the backbox...well, it'll be fully grown by the time it ships, second quarter 2016. Oh, and $250 extra on each for Invisiglass, of course.

    America's Most Haunted Promo Video

Are they not going for that tacky 1980s feel with the game itself? Maybe that's why this tacky video was made the way it was. Is this not the game that featured a photographic translite and side art a la Premier games of the 1980s which was removed after a universal THUMBS DOWN from the...

Everything You EVER wanted to know about Customs

To rephrase it, the only way to, in your words, "get" the 5% is to 1) not tell the entire truth, 2) outright lie or 3) hope the customs guy/gal doesn't execute their job correctly. You should not embark on the first two, and the third is out of your control entirely. Its in the books that 13%...
