Thanks for all the hard work, Adam and Mike. This content will be a HUGE asset to the Pinball Revolution community, noobs and veterans alike (not sure where I fall in there lol)

Re: WTB Fish tales or Wolrd Cup Soccer
It does, yes.. though from what I can recall you can actually play the game without them :P
I know, but many lightning-flipper games got switched out for regular flippers. Lightning flipper replacements were hard to come by until recently. I had...
Re: WTB Fish tales or Wolrd Cup Soccer
I never really enjoyed Fish Tales (not a huge Mark Ritchie fan) until I played it with lightning flippers at Adriano's. It plays much better with those.. VERY fast.
Those are only the Stern seminar, guys.. there are plenty of others! Actually I recommend the LTG Show, that one's a blast and you can win free stuff.
Also take the Stern tour if you've never done it. It's pretty awesome.
24 hour pinball on Friday night / Sat morning is a blast, especially...
Let me save you some time if you were planning on going to Gary's seminar:
(Gary's talk in summary)

Hey fellas, my biggest concern with EMT donations is that I'm not sure how I'd keep track of them...
Honestly, your participation in the community is thanks enough for me. :)

You can order parts from The Playdium Store, their parts and shipping prices are reasonable for light needs like that. http://www.theplaydiumstore.com/category_s/2188.htm
There are cheaper places in the US but then you're dealing with longer shipping times and who knows what in duty fees. YMMV :)
start by checking to see if the coils are hot after a few minutes of play. If that's the case, they're swelling and making the sleeve constrict, causing binding. Also see how freely they move by hand.
Meh.. you don't play the bottom of the playfield. :P
Also you don't hold your finger on the trigger for very long. Just quick bursts. Works great for me, I've done several games with it and have never had problems. *shrugs*
As I said, to each their own.
