That's not entirely true, as it all depends on the length of the cord. Say for instance you had a 14awg cord that was 100 ft, your wall voltage was 120 and you had 4 pins connected to it so assume a 12 amp peak load, you'd be looking at up to 3-4% voltage loss from one end to the other. (About...
Micro circuitry? Do you mean surface mount technology?
If that is what you mean, I can fix it for you. (Surprise surprise right?). What's the transistor part#?

Generally the use of extension cords is frequent, and as long as you use a good quality / large gauge wire cord you will get the best results given the conditions. Basically you want to use the largest AWG with the shortest length possible. The problem with using cords is the longer the cord...
This would be B1's department. A computer LCD would be the most reliable, but an old arcade monitor would give you the best authentic look. It really all boils down to what your personal preference would be? Reliability or the overall look? Don't get me wrong, arcade CRT's can be reliable...
One less point of failure, and my guess is it was completely done for cost reasons. Technically I don't see why you couldn't but adding something like that in would honestly be more work than just desoldering and resoldering the wires to the board.

I've always wondered if this new system is being forced due to component obsolescence more than anything else? I mean they rode the Whitestar system as long as they could, and the SAM system was pretty good but to me seems knida quick to abandon it already.
Just an observation...

I spent a LOT of my youth in roller rinks. My Mom was on a skating team so I'd be out there some weeknights with her, and then pretty much every weekend both Saturday and Sunday on my own with friends. They always had a small lineup, few vids and a couple of pins and for some reason I was...
Usually you can tell if a glass has been sprayed by looking at the score windows for overspray or any ridges where they masked them off. As for the other part of your Q, hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

Not just at the top of every page, at the bottom of every page would also be a bonus so you don't have to scroll up to the top when you're finished reading. (because you'll always be at the bottom of the page)
Just a thought?

Re: My first full shop job ... WH20
Make sure you identify which lengths you need! There are two common sizes used on all WMS games. The silver ones are for mech brackets and the brass / gold coloured ones are for lamp sockets only, as these are slightly shorter than the silver ones. You...
