    TIP Playfield clearcoat

If I was selling this service $400 is about what I would charge for a clearcoat. That's based on 3-4 coats (sanding/prep in between) and no touch-ups. The average pf is getting roughly $50-$75 worth of materials alone (2-part auto clear, reducer, sandpaper and other consumables). Tack on about...

    Tron Vault Edition?

Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised. At this point, I think most people who wanted a TRON (NIB anyway) had a pretty good chance to get one. I would imagine that, after ACDC, it was probably the most produced Stern in recent memory.

    The THANKS-giving thread

Anytime! I'm also a little behind in my 'thanks-giving'. Of course a big shout out to Rob who did an amazing job on my Joker Poker cabinet. I'm now back from some business travel and looking forward to starting my playfield swap this weekend! Also, a huge thanks to Dan for helping me (and a...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

Thought I'd post a little update on that STTNG playfield I showed a few weeks ago. After I glued the inserts back in I sealed it all up with clearcoat and created 3 water-slide decals, did a few small further touch-ups on some black outlines and performed a few more layers of clear to seal it...

    SOLD F-14 TOMCAT

I bought this game a couple of months ago from local PBrev tech guru Doug (aka Menace). I'd never owned an F-14 and just wanted to take it for a spin. It's been played and enjoyed... but I have others waiting to come in. Selling for what I paid, no more, no less. $1800 The game is in very nice...

    Spiroagnew's SPRAY & PRAY Cabinet Re-Stenciling

Need some help getting Melody upstairs? I can come right over :):):)

    Spiroagnew's SPRAY & PRAY Cabinet Re-Stenciling

Simply priming over the cab will not address flaking paint, cabinet scratches, missing wood etc... Basically, you'll just see all that stuff right through the paint. A good sanding, filling and sanding again is always best practice for any cabinet restore. Then, once primed and sealed, you...

    FS ROM Sale all games

Just popped in my home ROMs for Stern Meteor! I should have a much harder time rolling the displays now ;) Thanks Dave!

    Spiroagnew's SPRAY & PRAY Cabinet Re-Stenciling

I know of a nice Melody that would love a facelift :p But seriously... these cabs looks awesome. I just brought home my Joker Poker a few days ago and now can't wait to do the CPR playfield swap. My project backlog is pretty deep and, when Rob offered to start doing these, it was a huge load...

    Pinball Hall of Fame

My only beef with the EMs is that most are set up almost horizontal :) There are some sloooooow playing games in those couple of rows. I'd be jacking those up a degree or two for sure.

    Pinball Hall of Fame

I always have to drop a few quarters into Flying Turns when I'm there. He's got some super rare stuff for sure! Enjoy!

Classic STERN spinners - what's the big deal???

Well, I "think" it spins better but I have no way to quantify that. All I wanted to do was establish that there was a physical difference. So there's at least some grounds for people who state that classic Stern spinners get more rotations and feel better.
